How to cook Ema Datsi:
Ingredients for making Ema Datsi
300g of green chillies
1 onion chopped longitudinally
2 full tomatoes
4 leaves of coriander
2 tspoon vegetable oil
300g Danish cheese
4 cloves of garlic crush it finely
Directions for cooking Ema Datsi
Cut chillies longitudinally, 1 chilli into 4 pieces. Put the chopped onions and chillies in a pot of water (approximately 420 ml). Add the vegetable oil. After that, boil it on medium flame for about 8 minutes. Add the garlic and the tomatoes and boil it for 2 minutess. Now add the cheese and let it remain for 2 to 3 mins. Finally add the coriander and turn off the flame. Stir it and keep it closed for 3 mins.
Now the favourite Bhutanese Ema Datsi is ready. Serves 3 people. Serve with red rice or polished white rice, along with some other dish.
Note: This Ema Datsi dish is VERY HOT, though depending on the type of chillies you cooked.
